we are looking for a software test engineer (python) to join an international engineering team developing software for complex safety-critical systems.

this is an excellent opportunity for engineers with solid commercial experience in software testing who are looking to grow within an international engineering environment.

your responsibilities:

• review and analyze system and software requirements
• design and implement automated tests in python as well as manual tests
• execute functional, integration and regression testing
• analyze test results and document testing activities
• identify, reproduce and report software defects
• support verification and validation activities
• collaborate closely with software developers, system engineers and qa specialists
• contribute to improving testing processes, tools and automation

what we are looking for

required:

• 3+ years of commercial experience in software testing, test automation or software validation
• solid python programming skills (mandatory)
• experience with both automated and manual testing
• strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• university degree in computer science, software engineering, electrical engineering or a related technical field
• english b2 or higher (spoken and written)

• embedded / industrial/ safety-critical project experience
• knowledge of verification & validation (v&v) processes
• istqb foundation certification
• experience in industrial automation, transportation or railway project
