nauchsoft, an international software development and it consulting company, is looking for a full-time middle project manager (cybersecurity). we have been in the it business for 37 years and continue growing.

we are looking for a middle project manager to join our cybersecurity team and support the delivery of security projects for international clients. you will coordinate engagements such as penetration testing, vulnerability assessments, compliance audits, cloud security reviews, and other cybersecurity services, working closely with clients and technical security specialists.
the role requires strong project management fundamentals, good communication skills, and conversational english. a technical background, especially in networking, or previous experience with cybersecurity projects will be a strong advantage.

responsibilities:

• manage cybersecurity projects through the full project lifecycle: initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure.
• coordinate penetration testing, vulnerability assessments, compliance audits, cloud security reviews, and other information security engagements.
• work closely with security engineers and other technical specialists to plan activities, track progress, and remove delivery blockers.
• communicate with clients regarding project scope, timelines, access requirements, status, risks, issues, and deliverables.
• coordinate project resources and schedules across multiple parallel engagements.
• identify project risks and issues and ensure they are addressed in a timely manner.
• maintain project documentation and provide regular status updates to internal and external stakeholders.
• participate in pre-sales and rfp activities, including requirements analysis, project scoping, effort estimation, coordination of technical input, preparation of delivery approaches, and proposal support.
• work with sales and account management teams during pre-sales activities, helping translate client requirements into appropriate cybersecurity services and project scope.
• support account development activities by identifying potential follow-up engagements and additional security needs based on project results and ongoing client discussions.
• ensure projects are delivered according to the agreed scope, timeline, and quality expectations.

• 3+ years of project management experience in it.
• hands-on experience managing projects from planning through execution and closure.
• good understanding of project management fundamentals, including scope, schedule, resources, risks, issues, and stakeholder management.
• experience working with technical teams and coordinating multiple stakeholders.
• technical background or practical technical knowledge in networking, system administration, infrastructure, or related areas.
• basic understanding of cybersecurity services and concepts, including penetration testing, vulnerability management, security assessments, cloud security, and compliance audits.
• experience participating in pre-sales activities, rfps, project scoping, and effort estimation.
• experience working with clients and supporting account development or expansion activities.
• upper-intermediate english (b2+) with confident spoken communication.
• strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• ability to manage several projects and priorities simultaneously.

• previous experience managing cybersecurity or information security projects.
• experience working with international clients.
• experience coordinating penetration testing or other offensive security engagements.
• understanding of common security standards and frameworks such as owasp, nist, iso 27001, soc 2, pci dss, or similar.
• project management or security certifications such as pmp, psm, comptia security+, or similar.
• cybersecurity, networking, cloud, or other relevant technical certifications.
